i read an entire 19-page thread that discipline (r.i.p.) started about porn back in 2014 yesterday and discriminately gave up/down votes to posts. MadMedico was consistently on the side of rapists and johns and pimps, and although it was 2014, i don't know if he has self-criticized sufficiently in the last two years and i'm personally okay with a person like that getting thrown out of here.
i hope as a newer user but long time fan it's okay for me to say this.

The takeaway for newcomers reading this weird interlude of past meta problems, is that we want people to be comfortable posting here knwoing they will not have to constantly re-fight these bullshit distraction arguments like "is pornography actually exploitative?" or fend off divisive members. Cool right?! Its the most popular forum on the internet - for more obvious reasons that you know.

My advice to all new posters is a s follows: you need NEED to find some idiotic trot belief to suddenly spring on everyone in the middle of a heated discussion about the aral sea or soviet nuclear submarines. I enjoy Quorn chicken cutlets. I like Nate's Meatless Meatballs. Beyond Meat does some okay chicken strips also. I like Yves salami but I haven't seen it in the stores for a few months.
