The feminism is coming from inside me own brain. I was talking to some bro clerk at the liquor store and he was saying that after work he was gonna try to get a piece of pussy. First of all, is that how we talk about other human beings? Logistically, though, what are you going to do with just a piece of pussy? Impress your mummified mother with a complete skin-suit?

It's a synecdoche. When I say "I'm on the prowl for some pussy", the pussy stands in for a complete woman, who I want to hold long, meaningful conversations with.

Queering Animal Liberation, Animating Restorative Justice

Animal rights are often seen as subordinate to or even the opposite of human rights. But what if we flipped the picture, seeing the world from the point of view of queer ducks and LGBTQ people alike oppressed by hierarchical binaries? Our all-queer panel of animal liberation activists will cover not only intersections among speciesism and homo/transphobia but also the exciting possibilities opened up by a fully ecological activist praxis. Presentations: "Born Wrong” by Christopher-Sebastian McJetters -- An examination of how violence against animals perpetuates anti-gay bullying, erasing nonhuman identities also erases queer identities, and hyper-masculinity in American gay culture cultivates speciesism. "Decolonizing the Dominant Diet” by Brandie Skorker -- A challenge to socially constructed dietary desires that are rooted in oppressive histories while leading to environmental catastrophes. "Human Rights as Animal Rights” by Pattrice Jones -- A “queering” of the notion of animal rights to encompass human rights and thereby enliven struggles for social and environmental justice through the restoration of social and material ecologies.

Animals: Those protected forever in their blessed ignorance from having their sorrows multiplied by angst, counter-angst, or meta-angst about sexual coupling.

Its interesting to hear the argument that people are fat because they're too poor or whatever to go a supermarket when the fattest motherfuckers I ever see irl are always at supermarkets, in the same way you're more likely to see an elder-vampire heroin addict at the place where they sell the heroin. i might move to Hawaii soon. my brother and his soon-to-be wife are going to be living and working on a farm there for the next 6 months learning sustainability or whatever and i hate my job/life here. so if i end up getting trapped in a drug farm like at the end of A Scanner Darkly, the safepost will be "Aloha, failAIDS"

They have the usual native issues re: poverty and substance abuse but there's no Rez to dump them all on and ignore them. In theory villages are basically that but nobody lives in those they're all like 200 people. In my time working in villages people have always been very nice to me, like leave it to beaver nice.

is it symptomatic of my status as a monstrous person that i can't feel anything whenever somebody over 70 dies? some guy i know was all broken up because his 90 year old great uncle died and i had to stop myself from asking motherfucker what did you think was gonna happen? "it was so sudden." nooo it wasn't!
#1316
yeah the other day someone semi-famous died here and i was like yeah he was a 70 year old lawyer with enormous stress so not really a big surprise and my whole family was like WTF don't say that, 70 isn't old at all (my dad is 62).
