just to be clear: i'm not a mod and you haven't made me a mod.

but i do have server admin access in case of issues, and i can make people mod (or not mod), and some people have mentioned they'd like there to be changes. so here is your thread.

this is basically because RedMaistre wrote a long effort article that should probably go on the frontpage, and there have been other good posts that haven't made it there either. i would like that to change, personally.

being able to post on front page is really good and important. looks like stego has that power, does he know how to do it? that's definitely what that group is because bnw was the latest one added. conec needs to be replaced

4 days until the one year anniversary of the previous post to the front page. 4. That might seem like an arbitrary number of days, but i couldnt wait 4 days and risk somebody else pointing out the juicy fact first.

I have discovered that posting a thing to the front page is a mess of manual steps and intervention and permissions so I can't fix all that tonight but I should be able to hook it up right tomorrow.

if anyone has some frontpage candidates and you are so inclined, you could make a properly sized image to go with it and post it itt with a link to the good post. or I will just end up picking some!
