Hey, cool opinion. War of the Lions is my favorite game ever made, so i'll gladly do this. I like the mechanics more in later tactics games but their narratives dont even come close.

First you have to keep in mind who they had in mind when they were designing this fight - children. i've been playing fft: journey of the five, a fan romhack (total rewrite really) because of the badgame 2016 challenge thread, and the writing is dumb but the challenge is pretty enjoyable

i don't remember ever trying war of the lions, maybe i did, i dunno. all final fantasy after the release of 7 is kind of dead to me
