homo sapiens is a young species and it seems to be one of the few species capable of problem solving and modifying its own mannerisms both on an individual level as well as on a social level (in which it is probably unique).

so, looking at all the other asshole creatures pointlessly frolicking about this planet i'd say humanity is probably on the right track.
