i don't know who megan murphy is really but rabble is a pro-ndp website funded by unions which i find mostly unreadable. they don't actually hire writers, it's like a magazine and they just pay for articles and i think there are dozens of editors. they probably pay fine compared to other canadian progressive magazines but you can't live off it (i checked and their writer fees budget for 2013 was $50,000, for a national website with hundreds of articles a year), and i think most of their writers are part of NGO Hell. i guess if they want to no-platform her that makes sense but i'd guess if she attracts real controversy she'll get bumped into that sad famous-because-famous nightmare realm like anita sarkeesian and she'll be paid to give keynotes at like Project Save Natalia - Shut Down the Sex Industry funded by the Progressive Women's Alliance which turns out to be Mormons or whatever. this world is so corrupt.

yeah liberal intersectional feminists infuriate me to the point that i don't even try to engage them. they go out of the way to hurl vicious abuse at radical feminists and socialists for criticizing "choice" as defined by capitalist structures and ideology. the accusation of transphobia and racism for the opinion that sex work in capitalism is exploitative is one of the more backwards and insane trends of identity politics.

and they get to poise as far holier than thou while cashing in on that sweet corporate paycheck for writing strident articles condemning everyone else on the left. cretins.
