By now, given all the rampant anti-Obama rhetoric, I think pretty much everyone on the Rhizzone is a firm supporter of Mitt Romney for president. This is a thread for discussing our Romney/Ryan activism and how we can best establish talking points to ensure a Romney victory and therefore, a more rapid end of the world and a righteous death knowing we did all we could to permanently end humanity.

Given this, what are we to make of the most recent "pro-Medicare" tack?

It actually makes brilliant sense. It allows the Republicans to run on the "we actually support Medicare" ticket. The cynicism is dripping in proper Republican style; we all know the entire point is to cut Medicare and throw all of our parents and grandparents into mass graves, but we also know that we can point out the hypocrisy in Obama cutting $716 billion from Medicare.

I think this a rather brilliant approach because it's hard to argue with the facts.

romney isn't going to win, lmao. everyone hates him even the republican base. he has no shot in hell considering the economy is "doing well" and his healthcare plan was the blueprint for obamacare

The Republican base is fired up, all the liberals are doing is trying to hate on Romney and Ryan which only makes the Republicans more powerful because they are both people in good standing. I think there is a very good chance Romney will win since so many Obama voters will stay home. And nobody thinks the economy is "doing well", Dow Jones aside.
