What is Goatse?
Goatse.cx (sometime referred to as 'Goatse') is the original internet shock site. The site's front page featured a picture, named hello.jpg, depicting a man exposing his behind to the camera. The only identifying feature on the man was his gold ring. The site gained acclaim as a surprise picture and Internet meme, and is commonly used for bait-and-switch pranks, preventing hot-linking in a hostile manner, and defacing websites, in order to provoke extreme reactions. Despite having been taken down in 2004 by the Christmas Island .cx registry, it lives on through countless mirrors on the internet today.

What is Goatse Mail?
Goatse Mail is a new service offering email accounts on the goatse.cx domain. Users will be able to register their very own @goatse.cx email addresses from which they can send and receive mail.
