arslan alansari press release, incomprehensible to non-arabic speakers

"We've sent our soldiers to Shaam to connect with our sleeping cells in Shaam to fight under an independent name from ISI"

"We've chosen not to unveil this for security reasons, and not to allow the West to defame the Mujahideen's picture using the propaganda against the ISI"

"From now on, there'll be no more ISI and no more Jabhat An-Nusrah, there'll be one name and one banner and one state called The Islamic State in Iraq & Shaam"

"We've let the people of Shaam see the true nature of the Mujahideen and the Islamic State and they liked it and joined it"

"We've split our logistic supply and money with An-Nusrah"

That's a pleasant change, hopefully Saudi will join without too much fuss.

Cliffs: The ISI unified with Syrian insurgents. After Assad and Talabani fall there will a unified mujaheddin state, the third largest military power in the Middle East.

Damn this new empire is going to corner the world market in muddy bullet-scarred streets and moustachioed, ill-defined lawmen

Oh damn this seems like a good place to ask: does anyone remember this song by an American who went to fight with al shabab in Somalia, I think baby finland posted it

It’s got a hook like “Jihad against the arrr-miiiiesss…of the salib
No rest for the oppress-orrrs, a life of fear….

Much appreciated

Sorry to say it but Assad isn't really relevant anymore, and he was becoming a Dengist anyway. In the long run nothing will hurt US interests in the region more than a holy jihadist state of Iraq & Greater Syria. Barring imperialist intervention, they can seize the Gulf States from there and take control of most of the world's oil.

Now the bad news, music has returned to Somalia.

http://forums.islamicawakening.com/f18/their-twisted-idea-reform-music-returns-mogadishu-65144/

Festival-goers revelled in the opportunity to see acts such as Waayaha Cusub to dance and let down their hair - literally. The organisers hope that it will usher in a new era in the city's turbulent history.

A new era of fisq and fasad I say.

In addition to being the new ambassador to Benghazi as well as a weekly commentator on NPR’s All Things Considered, he is currently engaged to Malia Obama and recently purchased a Staffordshire terrier called “Bacon”.
