none of those posts to me sounded like a call to bring about revolution via a hideous internet fail army distributing poorly compressed memes to the people from the website that etc. obviously this is a public discussion site/cia honeypot, not a party with a political program. there's nothing wrong with discussion that takes the movement seriously, and acting like there is is either pointless cynicism or worse.
of course, a true revolutionary doesn't work alone, so please also post the above information for at least 5 of your comrades as well. thanks in advance.

havent read the rest of the thread but youve kinda answered your own question here havent you? this place has value, even if nothing else, as somehwere we can hang out and bounce ideas off each other and laugh and be inspired and gain strength from the reminder there's others out there even during those dark times when we doubt there are any real or potential comrades in our immediate vicinity. could it be more than that? i have a very strong feeling that it has and who knows, may be again, but ridiculing comrades for simply floating ideas for action is really silly. smdh.

ok we get it your an atheist but not every thread has to be about that

Actually, August will only be the second anniversary of Robin Williams' death

Nothing happens. It is pitch black. You hear dripping water. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

he actually means it though - it's a joke at the expense of people abstractly wondering if certain things would work as strategy, because he's imagining they're imagining themselves and this forum as some sort of organized revolutionary force, for some reason. basically he just made that part up, and then is havin a laugh at people over the made up thing

I read the article 'Silicon Ideology'. It was one of the more interesting pieces written about the alt-right of 'Pepe the frog' fame.
The piece ends on a note about practice:
Traditional anti-fascist tactics have largely been formulated in response to 20th cen-
tury fascism. I am not confident that they will be sufficient to defeat neo-reactionaries.
That is not to say they will not be useful; merely insufficient. Neo-reactionaries must be
fought on their own ground (the internet), and with their own tactics: doxxing especially,
which has been shown to be effective at threatening the alt-right. Information must be
spread about neo-reactionaries, such that they lose opportunities to accumulate capital
and social capital. They must not be able to use social media without having to answer for
their beliefs and actions.
That sounds pretty neat to me. Considering what happened to Milo yabadopoulous when (public!) online statements about pedo shit were unearthed, there is probably a fair bit of damage to be done with this kind of shit.
What is the 'low-hanging fruit' of right-wing closet-skeletons? If you could tie a harddrive full of cuckoldry porn (out of the many thousand such drives that already inhabit the masturbatoriums of the neo-reactionaries) to a major figure do you think their cred would take a hit?
Considering the left doesn't really have a 4chan/8chan where large numbers of tech-savvy people can be persuaded to engage in these types of campaigns, are there smaller, more individual scale things that you can think of doing?
I'm just spitballin' here.
Bear in mind it was only an ironic steampunk wedding.

Comrade, the Party requires your talents! Can you approximate how many ounces of mustache wax were used at the Steampunk Wedding? Was it an efficient use of resources? How can the Politburo facilitate subsequent steampunk weddings to greatest effect?
The socialist principle, "He who does not work shall not eat", is already realized; the other socialist principle, "An equal amount of products for an equal amount of labor", is also already realized. But this is not yet communism, and it does not yet abolish "bourgeois law", which gives unequal individuals, in return for unequal (really unequal) amounts of labor, equal amounts of products.
This is a “defect”, says Marx, but it is unavoidable in the first phase of communism; for if we are not to indulge in utopianism, we must not think that having overthrown capitalism people will at once learn to work for society without any rules of law. (Chapter 5, Section 3, “The First Phase of Communist Society”)
In accordance with Lenin’s understanding of the socialist state, article twelve of the 1936 Soviet Constitution states:
In the USSR work is a duty and a matter of honor for every able-bodied citizen, in accordance with the principle: “He who does not work, neither shall he eat.”
In Lenin’s writing, this was not so much directed at lazy or unproductive workers, but rather the bourgeoisie. (Marxist theory defines the bourgeoisie as the group of those who buy the labor-power of workers and engage it in the process of production, deriving profits from the surplus value thus expropriated. Once communism was realised, that is, after the abolition of property and the law of value, no-one would live off the labor of others.)
Neither did the principle apply to those rendered incapable of work by old age or disability. These groups would have a right to society's products because they were not at fault for their condition. The elderly, in particular, had worked during their youth, and so could not be denied life’s basic necessities. The Soviet state would then, at least theoretically, provide a basic level of social security.

The wide availability of drugs throughout bourgeois society suppresses people's ability to work, and then shit fake-leftists like yourself decide it's okay for the people affected to not eat. This is not 1917 Russia, it's 2017 and we have these things called narcostates now.

Lumpenproletariat is a term that was originally coined by Karl Marx to describe the layer of the working class that is unlikely ever to achieve class consciousness and is therefore lost to socially useful production, of no use to the revolutionary struggle, and perhaps even an impediment to the realization of a classless society. The word is derived from the German word Lumpenproletarier, "Lumpen" literally meaning "miscreant" as well as "rag". The Marxist Internet Archive writes that " identifies the class of outcast, degenerated and submerged elements that make up a section of the population of industrial centers" which include "beggars, prostitutes, gangsters, racketeers, swindlers, petty criminals, tramps, chronic unemployed or unemployables, persons who have been cast out by industry, and all sorts of declassed, degraded or degenerated elements."
