actually "comeback tom" is a new fx series produced by mac from always sunny where tom (nick swardson) starts each episode with a series of horrible setbacks which then, over the course of the 22 minutes, all reverse into great positives and leave tom happier than ever. this formula is based on the italian melodrama "reversal of fortune".
