Kate Upton and Ryan Gosling Explain the Sequester
Max Read
Did you know that the federal government is on track to enact massive, across-the-board spending cuts one week from today—cuts that that could affect important government services, cost hundreds of thousands of people their jobs and greatly slow the growth of the economy? No? You didn't? It's okay: it's an incredibly boring story. But don't worry! We're going to make it interesting, the only way we know how: by putting it in the mouths of attractive famous people. Here now: Ryan Gosling and Kate Upton explain the sequester.

could any culture really be less healthy for women than this one? people are bombarded with images of cover girls with impossible curves and looks everywhere you turn and then even those same people with the unattainable bodies also get totally ripped apart lol

Agreed, insisting that Kate is somehow morbidly obese due to the time she ate a fast food burger.. Sorry she doesn't look more like ryan gosling I guess

i was watching some post-Oscars Hot or Not thing w/ my sister on tv and one lady on the panel was like "Celebrity Woman is so beautiful but this dress does everything to really, really age her" and then the audience just sort of spontaneously clapped at what she said, as if it was a really soul affirming thing she'd just said, it made me rly confused for a second cause i couldnt figure out if they were literally clapping about the host saying someone looked old. it wasnt even jeering applause, it was as if oprah had just said something about how important it is to love urself or whatever, a "can i get an amen" sort of applause. weird.

*criticizes media’s misogynistic treatment of accomplished woman*

*doesn’t bother to notice or remember woman’s name*

That woman's name is stupid.

From an accelerationist point of view, this is kind of an ideal impasse. I mean, a law specifically to cut the most important things from the budget, hoping that it'll cause the two American parties to agree on something, and then they don't? I mean, come on, that's classic. Americans are going to start feeling the sharp side of the stick of capitalism, and that's kind of funny.

I still don't understand that authors angst over kate upton's weight. She really doesn't look fat to me.
