keven's ycs periodization is bizzare and unhelpful. 'pre-badgame' seems to end sometime in late 2007, judging by his examples (sales numbers?? really?), when badgame itself started four years later. and if he really thinks ragefaces rep[resent anywhere near the peak of badgame memes he just hasnt done the legwork.
