His relationship with this forum has clearly become deeply unhealthy and we're not really in a position to help/support him, so imho he should probably be locked out for his own good too. Also it is really distressing to watch him steadily get worse and be unable to do anything about it.

yeah - I've definitely had that thing when I was running a bad fever and was doing similar 'ruminating uncontrollably over what I'd just read', and rhizzone is a fairly rich cocktail of stuff to take in. I dunno if just banning him from posting is going to have a positive impact for him, though ...

this has been your obligatory WHO warning that would advise all people who "get" rhizzone to be careful because that likely means you have a predisposition to a mental illness etc.

DM had a psychotic episode and was banned for his own well being and he went and got help and came back as a good but infrequent poster. Jeffery got banned for being crazy and just never came back.
