We all know the main socialist countries, like China and Laos. But large numbers of other countries are led by socialist parties or otherwise commit to socialism which you may not even know about.

India - India is officially a socialist country according to the preamble of its constitution.

South Africa - The country is governed by a coalition between the Communist Party, the central trade union federation and a member of the Socialist International.

France - France's government is dominated by the Socialist Party.

Venezuela - Many of the leading opposition parties in Venezuela are full members of the Socialist International, and will presumably build socialism in Venezuela once the United Socialist Party of Venezuela loses the presidency in a catastrophic military coup.
