it is but i didn't feel compelled
it's not that easyhard to dodge service, IDF has a huge surplass in man power either way, many time women conscripts are just discharged automatically unless they really want to serve cause you only need that many 18 year old girls who make make instant coffee at all day long.
as long as you are not making a fuss about politics and ideologies the IDF will just discharge you, it's only all those conscientious objectors are sent to prison etc
