the topic was about human development, not development of certain peoples in certain countries, which still, unarguably, have benefited as a whole from reallocation of resources from certain countries into the hands of a few that have been the driving force of human progress

i agree, untouchables in india wouldnt even have garbage piles to live in & eat from without the power of the market
