i had to go home to check the internet to see who his running mate was in '08 so i could write them in

i lived in the black part of town and would wear an obama tshirt when i worked out and all the ladies who worked at the Y showed me their obama tshirts and they werent from obama.com they were all from some guy who designed blinged-out obama t-shirts with like obama and malcom x and mlk all superimposed with like airbrush script and lots of sparkly stuff

i stopped wearing the obama shirt though i still wear the nader shirt

Yeah, it needs to be said. Fox News is utterly irredeemable. All it does is spread easily disprovable lies, and foster fear, resentment and hatred.

Obama is a Wall Street shill blah blah yeah I know, but he isn't dealing with "ideological difference" or "partisanship," he's dealing with hatred. The Republican Party doesn't have a vision for the future of America, it has a revenge fantasy against the groups who don't vote for them.
Obama, or someone with more power than being just a pundit who the undecided won't just dismiss as a lefty extremist, needs to nut the fuck up and tell Romney, to his face, in front of everyone in America, call him out on the hatred that his party runs on. Hatred of the poor, hatred of atheists, hatred of Muslims, hatred of immigrants, hatred of the gay, hatred of the transgendered, hatred of unions, hatred of teachers, hatred of single moms, hatred of half the fucking country.
No, it's not disagreement, it's hatred and lies. Lies that they fucking know are lies and that they know are making the world a worse place, but are still spreading because they want to win the election. Ideological disagreement doesn't wink and nudge birther idiocy, or make Hitler comparisons, or cheer when an uninsured constituent of the other side dies of a preventable illness.

There was a post yesterday about people asking whether or not the “Dear Cis People: You don’t have the right to refuse a trans woman sex just because she’s trans” post was offensive. I said it was poorly worded, because you have the right to refuse whenever you want, but your refusal can be transphobic depending on the circumstances.

Then I looked a little deeper.

That isn’t our font. There is no click through link to our page. There are no tags. That is a poorly made photoshop. I have made a mistake or two and let some posts through that shouldn’t have been posted but I did not post that originally.

And I would have asked for a reword. Because it is rape-y. You have the right to refuse sex whenever for whatever reason. The reason can make you an asshole but that right is always there.
