it is funny that they call it the conflict tower, and talk about how great it is that they're going to be open about who owns them, and the people in the tower are awful new media venture capitalist fucks and cretins with web consultancies lol. bad idea guys.

there's a difference between "taking someone's money" and just taking someone's money imo

I do t actually think there is in this case. Its not like these people are pulling the strings because their money is already in the business and they can't pull it out, but in order to get that money nsfw corp had to refrain from criticizing some things, like vcs and the revolting new media culture, or the people that are giving them money now would not have done it. I like jools suggestion though. That's probably what Ames is planning, has been planning all along, to just go wild and return to the days when he was throwing semen pies at people and abusing his readership. He Just Had To Say This Stuff To Get Elected.

Huh, sorry? What was that? What are we not caring about? Unlike you, I've been too busy being indifferent to not-care about stuff people are caring about -- whatever it is "people" "care" "about". Nice try, though

one day i'm going to make a blog and post cool things about applying mathy/physicsy things on complex systems analysis to social science stuff (which may be on what my thesis topic will be on provided i'm bored enough this summer to do a white paper on the concept).

i'll probably be posting a thread on the latter come may so i can get some input on people who've read more about semiotics.

i got a subscription and it's basically like i thought; dolan, ames and levine have some interesting stuff while cowart is notable for fluff and the rest of the writers don't even manage that.

i like the war nerd (lol dolans only dolan piece was mocking the inauguration poem) stuff on africa. so much money and so little reporting actually goes on in that region that getting a reliably non-scum view is seems worth the cost.

if any of you are interested in any articles i can create up to ten 'share links' a month that give free access to an article for 48 hours
