is it possible that transautism exists??????????

uuuh this has been bothering me for a while wow um i cant believe im getting this of my chest the thing is just like transexuals feel they were born the wrong gender i feel like i was born the wrong mental state as a non autistic person

i have taken many online tests and i always score incredibly low on the autism scale but on the inside i feel like i am a true autist

i spend a lot of my time rearranging files on my computer and when I play games like skyrim I spend more time tweaking my settings and getting lots of mods to run perfectly than actually playing the game
i like stuff to always be symmetrical too and whenever i eat a meal with different parts to it i always eat each part one at a time (eg. all the peas, then all the potatoes, then the meat)

also I often get real offended about things people say on tumblr because wow they are really offensive to the people who are gifted with autism making real mean and ugly jokes ):

i feel like i better identify with and understand other autists like it’s “us” vs the world even though myself am not technically autistic (which in my personal opinion autists are just a bit superior in some aspects to the normal people but um this is my opinion so dont take it too seriously!!!!!!)

does anyone else feel like this???????? if there was an operation to make yourself autistic would you do it?????? i think I probably would!!!!!!

please respond if you feel the same or went through something similar!!!

First, while I'm aware of the punk group I'm named after, Misfits is about as far as I go in that direction. I was one of those posers who listened to the Pixies and the Screaming Trees when I was a teenager because my friends told me it was cool and I believed them. Then they moved onto classic rock, and finally just whatever was on the radio. So I listen mostly to Twisted Sister and Stone Temple Pilots and CCR and whatever's overplayed on the radio that you're tired of listening too now. I'm the guy annoying the everloving shit out of you playing "pumped up kicks" like it's the first time I heard it at the red traffic light that never turns green out of pure sadism. If I find a way to take my taste in music in an even worse direction, I'll let you know.

Now that I don't have a shred of dignity, I can begin baring my soul to the judgemental internet.

I don't want to get into my parents. It'll depress the everloving shit out of both of us, and half of it will sound internet made up bad. The part that's important to my political outlook is that they could have avoided (not really even) living paycheck to paycheck and didn't. Mom had an MBA, and the man she remarried had some college on an athletic scholarship and a string of jobs that started out good and got worse. And I worked, and most of my money went to the household too. They simply didn't understand not spending every penny you had, and when they did take well meaning advice, they took the worst possible interpretation of it. Going into detail there will also be depressing, but I think Netflix is streaming hoarders now so just watch that.

So basically, I grew up with a very strong negative example, and as a result I have a GED, a few years of college under my belt, some good savings, someone I love (a woman, I'm straight), a military background, and the ability to kick myself in the ass when the house starts going to shit and the dishes start piling up. Because I know what happens when you aren't a grown up about being a grown up. I know I'll get shit for saying this, but I'm also very tight about spending money and save a lot - although when a problem can only be solved with money or solving a problem with money early on means saving later, I'll spend in a heartbeat. And I don't force my miserly tendancies on the woman who is rightfully earning half our cash anyway. Probably couldn't if I wanted to, but I wouldn't if I could.

What got me through it all was sci fi. Everything from Star Trek to Asimov, Blade Runner to the Time Machine. Yes, a lot of Heinlein, but also a lot of Vonnegut and some James Morrow, and even some that have breached the pop culture barrier like Orson Scott Card and Neal Stephenson. I fell in with "weirdos" mostly. The quotes are because the turn outs for everything from raves to the Rocky Horror shows in my city were insanely large. Basically, even before the internet was huge and the things we did were things that actually embarrassed people, these people could larp loud and proud with each other and there were thousands of them. I guess this made me fairly tolerant, but a lot of it wasn't so much tolerance as much as it was me getting by. You'd be surprised how much cooler people get about letting you sleep on their sofa when they come out to their parents and get disowned, and believe you me I needed sofas to sleep on.

A lot of these people were also budding internet atheists, the dickish kind, and I started to hang out with them and adopt a lot of their traits. Not just the negative ones, mind. Being an "out" atheist gave me a good, neutral starting point for examining the philosophical and religious views I was being exposed to, even if I was an arrogant asshat teenager and had appropriately tinted glasses I was viewing everything through.

Basically, every view I had until I was about a year out of the military was really me adopting the views of the folks around me, and I was really immature in a lot of ways. Meeting the woman I love and living with her for a few years changed a lot of that. She is very liberal (except on some issues), to the point where it made me realize I wasn't. She was about as mature as I was, and living together forced me to analyze myself and get rid of everything that wasn't working. I can only assume she went through something similar, because there aren't any pizza boxes next to the trash can and it's been months or maybe years since we've screamed at each other.

So this all came together to force to define my own political views. I knew some that I flat out disagreed with, some that I agreed with, and some that I just held because I felt like I should, and just kind of bathed all of those in acid. What resulted didn't really fit neatly in any of the buckets I'd been exposed to, but I think I'm finally okay with that. I tried on the "libertarian" and "centrist" hats for a while, but I didn't like the bedfellows I was making that way, and other times when I found there were issues I really cared about a lot in which I'd be allying with people who definitely were not "in the middle".

A lot of the things I used to give people shit for - seemingly picking their ideology out of a salad bar, using only open source software, hell I even eat flax seed now although I also love me a good juicy rare steak - I've adopted and made my own, and knowing that in and of itself was what drove me to my current beliefs and outlook.

I believe a person's philosophical and/or religious outlook should be a very intimate thing. I do enjoy discussing ideas like sentience and a lot of epistemological issues, even morals and questions of meaning and purpose, just not so much the conclusions I've reached personally.

But when it comes to politics, I'm much more comfortable saying what I believe. I think the simplest way I can put it is that I have decided what my life is to be about, and there are some obstacles between me and that that I'm going to have to increase my own personal power to get, and since I'm doing that I may as well make everything easier for other people with the same goals since one of us succeeding is as good as any other.

So the fact that I'm trying to take everyone's money because I think I can put it to better use makes me enemies on the left, the fact that I'm out to screw the people out to screw everyone else makes me enemies on the right, and for the first time in my life, I've got enough of a spine (or I've finally turned into enough of an asshole) to actually enjoy pissing everyone off instead of trying to be everything to everyone. And that's, I think, why I hold my current beliefs. Because, as long as I still remember where I came from and help out people in my old shoes whenever I can, living this way sure as hell beats anything prior.

After Gaddafi's fall, the same militias which took him down have been raping, looting mosques, and killing black Libyans en masse...

Was anyone really foolish enough to predict otherwise? The ousting of Gaddafi is one of the most despicable charades I have ever seen; Gaddafi's Libya was a strong, secular, safe, and wealthy country, with the highest quality of life in all of Africa, free education, and free healthcare. There is absolutely zero evidence that Gaddafi's troops fired on unarmed protestors; fights did break out between the army and armed militias, but they are a far cry from simple protestors.

And the prison that was supposed to have been the site of a mass murder committed by Gaddafi soldiers?

The bones found on the scene belonged to animals. It, too, was a complete farce...

These armed terrorist gangs do not have the support of the Libyan people, and the only way they won the "civil war" was through the support of NATO.

There are rumors of a resurgent pro-Gaddafi movement to restore the Jamahiriya. Its success is doubtful with Gaddafi dead, but any attempt to overthrow this treasonous anarchic psuedo-state is welcomed by me at least....

I hear Sweden is a nice place to visit. Given your effective tax rate of 48 percent I hope you have a job that produces decent income. If not I guess the govt will take care of you...it certainly can afford it. Also given the fact the top five US corporations have more in sales each year than your countries yearly GDP you really dont even qualify as a country. Sweden depends on the countries around it for its very survival. I hear it has great skiing though.

Yeah I guess we should adhere to the wonderful liberal Democrat philisophies as demonstrated Corrine "Go Gata" Brown, Hank "Guam Is Going To Tip Over" Johnson, Maxine "I Accidentally Outed My Party's Socialist Agenda" Winters, Nancy "Quit your job we'll provide healthcare" Pelosi, Barney "Mortgage Master" Frank, Alan "I'm A Load That Should've Been Swallowed" Wilson, and all the others who embrace the lowest common denominator as greatness. (I cannot remember that Dem idiot who didn't vote for military action post-9/11.)

Look at Greece. Greek govt currently spending 160 % of the revenue it takes in. Greece burns as they try to cut back on govt services. Look at any Muslim country where the govt provides all the services. Most of them are in civil war. Eurozone is a disaster...most of the govt's debt has been downgraded because they do not have the cash to provide the services the citizens "deserve". England is imploding from the Muslim influence. France and Italy cant pay their bills. Russia is reverting back to communism...i can continue if you like.

#67
lol at the notion that somehow if you pay like half your income to the gov't for taxes and then get it back thru gov't programs you're somehow less self reliant than people paying corporations to steal from them

to be fair, I don't REALLY care about breastfeeding pictures and my dislike of children and especially parents is well known online and in the real world.

The REAL issue is the outsourcing of checking these pictures and posts by Facebook to places like Morocco so that they can pay people £1/day or whatever it is that they are being paid to block these pictures. This then leads to the fact that in non muslim countries we are being censored about what we can post by so called muslim sensibilities. Which is wrong. The pay is wrong the imposition of a religious outlook on whether a picture is offensive or not is also wrong.

I know that I got a 7 day picture upload ban because I uploaded a picture of a girl wrapped in bondage tape, nothing on show, more covered up than a bikini, yet someone at an outsourced "factory" somewhere decided that it was insensitive to THEIR sensibilities.
