well you would think monogamy would have lead to equality between the sexes in early human civilizations. but, from what i can remember, monogamy emerged relatively recently in Homo (like 2 mya or something, if not sooner) and modern humans are not entirely monogamous (there is a significant occurrence of polygyny).
none of this has anything to do with feminism though and it would be stupid to think it does.

we built a chapel and stayed on the orphanage with the kids for about a week
we couldnt use water as it was super scarce, no showers etc
in the town of tecate they did not seem to have fresh water and relied on "water trucks" to supply water for the public
it was middle school so that was a long time ago. things may have changed, but at least you can still buy a tecate beer and think of the good times

I was sent home without a proper backup plan, as the repair failed a week or so after returning home. My local physician had no idea on what to do, and tried to set me up with a local surgeon... who ended performing surgery to bypass the fistula, and giving me an ostomy. our understanding of genetics and eukaryotic cell culture is exponentially increasing so that within the next few years we'll probably be able to grow whatever body part a person needs and just stitch it on. sex reassignment surgeries may seem crude now, but they will be flawless within a few years imo.
once the use of CRISPRs as a tool for DNA modification becomes widespread, the progress of research will explosively increase. it will be so insane to not have to go through the usual bullshit of endonuclease cleaving, insertion, identification, etc. etc. etc. just reference the human genome, pick the gene you want, and have the CRISPR make it for you in any cell you are playing with. if i was a wiser person i would get in on this kind of stuff immediately.
but yeah, you're right. im way too biased by bacteria. a mammalian cell is quite a bit different from e. coli...
shit, i should have thought of that. we can probably just do a reverse transcription of the mRNA of something like a penis cell now and figure out exactly what it is that makes a penis. but how the cells of the penis interact as a tissue itself and the organism as a whole is completely lost to me. dam...
wow, so dumb... how are you even going to have only the genes you find in the cDNA on in the tissue you hope to make for someone...
