He’s semi-right about the bushfires thing. I’ve seen a whole bunch of shit on the guardian about the bushfires here in Australia and a bunch of cardigan-wearing commenters saying “heh, still think global warming isn’t real? Well how to you explain these FIRES (in forests filled with trees that reproduce by burning) or the fact that it’s REALLY HOT in Australia in January huh!?!??!?!”

lol Oh No Not Trucks. what are you meant to put the deposed royal family in if not trucks. i bet you want to put them in trains. that would be just like this forum, to go 'put them on trains.' well thats dumb. there arent enough romanovs to make transporting them by train prior to execution any more sustainable than transporting them in trucks. in conclusion, i hope this essay has proved that trucks are great, for european ruling houses, and also for other things like oranges

the problem tho, is that due to the over abundance of wealth and how heavily the state subsidizes food production, and particularly meats, it distorts the actual cost to society to maintain the typical american diet.

it's like, less than 5 dollars for me to pick up a pound of a good cut of meat from the super market. that's less expensive than a lot of junk food products.

My point is that the entire dietary infrastructure in the world is ecologically damaging to a huge degree anyways. Nutritionally balanced vegetarian diets are (for the most part) a completely modern invention and require a massive expenditure of fossil fuels. I mean, certainly many people lived (and still live) off of grain heavy diets, but malnutrition was high and was it offset by the intense physical toil of daily life. The fact is: all food is killing you in some way, and if you want some "optimal health" in terms of longevity, it would probably be some type extreme calorie restriction diet, and that would be even better for the environment!

As for red meat, the primary differences between it and white meat are what NazBro said. There are entire cultures that have survived with minimal eating of plants, and are more than healthy. Fuck, the inuit diet primarily consists of red meat, and they have amongst the lowest rates of coronary disease in the world.

All this horse talk has got me craving it like mad. I've never had it before and never really got the opportunity to eat some. I don't eat meat but I'll always make an exception to try something weird once. Unfortunately my province is pretty anti-horsemeat, so trying to find someone who would sell me some was fucking hard. I finally got a hold of an exporter today but I have to buy like a quarter horse for them to sell it to me. So I said fuck it and I bought a quarter dead horse. fuck horses anyways they're dumb as hell. saddle up boiz. horse is in the house.
