right now i have *checks phone* 40 some-odd unread texts/voicemails from this bitch flipping out incoherently calling me a fake asshole and a "trader bitch" because i wont give her the phone number of my friends ex who randomly messaged him on facebook this morning for the first and only time in like 4 years, so she can find out where she lives and drive like 300 mil;es overnight to "beat her fuckin peace of shit as"

which oddly enough is the EXACT same situation i was in almost exactly 2 years ago with a completely different close friend and his fiance. even down to it being the same ex chick who randomly messaged him. i feel like Billy Murray in that movie. you know the one where like the same thing keeps repeating over and over for no real reason and he cant stop it or even make sense of it? i think scarlett johansson was in it

this last week was not the rhizzone's week...

some drunk idiot jumped me for no apparent reason (he thought i was talking shit about him earlier in the night but i honestly had never interacted with the guy at all or even given him a second thought before the moment he ran up and punched me in the back of the head) thursday night and i came out of it pretty well (no bruising or anything) but one punch did cause my septum to swell and its looking now like it might be deviated which is going to cost money to fix... in which case im going to file a police report because even though i just want the whole thing behind me and dont want to have to interact with cops on top of everything, im not so emasculated as to pay for my own medical bills because some psycho jumped me...

Every time I read about someone else's clusterfuck of a life, I praise the gods I don't believe in for the small mercy of being aromantic. Count your blessings, that your life is not as fucked up as the lives of the other people on this forum.

i can tell you from experience that its entirely possible to have to deal with other peoples clusterfucks without ever having actually fucked any of those clusters yourself

quick rhizzone note, if you tend to think you're the only competent, intelligent, hardworking, mature, etc, person in a world full of inferiors, you're probably dead right, you are charlton heston overlooking a big dumb apescape. and all other people are monkey animals. so go get em you not-delusional piece of work, I mean piece of work in a good way, like a piece of a work of art, like a really big piece of work, like obviously a lot of work, not to restore it, I mean, a lot of work to make it, and to make the other pieces that are broken off. Obviously most of it is left is what I'm saying.

well i mean the dichotomy between barely-functioning, domestically abusive/abused alcoholics and an occasional social beer drinker is pretty stark. and im definitely not laying any claims to competence or worth ethic lol. i have no money and my ceiling is caving in

#258
indeed one's net worth and housing situation are a reliable metric for competence and work ethic
#259
wish i could go back to being an occasional beer drinker rather than a barely-functioning domestically abusive/abused alcoholic, but let's be serious here, the latter is a lot more fun when all is said and done
