sometimes i get so sad nearly to the point of tears when i think about the fact that my dog is going to die at some point, almost certainly before I do. she's not even 4 yet

I'm getting surgery for a hernia probably next week. I was feeling abdominal pain and thought I was having kidney problems or something really serious. But, according to a close inspection of my piss, my organs should be fine..
#1324
But yeah. originally they recommended a sonogram of my kidney's and I freak the fuck out.

Good luck. That's like super routine now I guess, so it will be painful but you'll probably die years from now.

is it symptomatic of my status as a monstrous person that i can't feel anything whenever somebody over 70 dies? some guy i know was all broken up because his 90 year old great uncle died and i had to stop myself from asking motherfucker what did you think was gonna happen? "it was so sudden." nooo it wasn't!

im allways really glad when someone olde dies because Heaven Is For Real

I, Keven, will mourn all who die but will never pause for them. Keven walks forever into the future of his own creation.

Congratulations. More money for our apartment in Los Angeles! That we're all renting together next year. So we can write skits for a Mad TV revival.

#1331
Mad TV is so dope to think about
#1332
Congrat$ on your Union keven.
#1333
In other union news I have an interview with th ibew next week. My friend who has a pierceing and looks sort of scraggly got ranked #20 on the apprentice call-out list and I know I did better on the test than he did, so I'm shooting to be #1. Can't wait to sign the labor aristocratic social contract with criminal imperialism and grab fistfuls of superprofit cash wet with the blood of the third world masses.
#1334
I was about to apply there as well, and yeah same being a badass labor aristocrat
#1335
are we seriously all joining the ibew because i know a few midwestern commies in there and its always struck me how theres no teamsters for a democratic union equivalent
#1336
goon project, ill make the website, etc
#1337
The irl equivalent of 'I'll make the website' is 'I'll form the fraktion'
#1338
I'm in a weird government worker union that covers operators, ships captains, janitors, basically anything if you work for govt. in a job that doesn't directly require a college degree. I used to be private construction but I've worked for the state for the last stretch because the stress is so much less & nobody tries to punch you usually.

This actually kind of sucks we got the letter saying we're staying at work the same day I was shopping for plane tickets & now I got to go back to being a kid with his little nose pressed up against the glass that is facebook, watching all my friends do cool things while I build a bridge with jerks, for jerks.

Mad TV went up against the whitest, lamest, safest SNL in history and features funny, vital people of color and women doing the hackiest most regressive stuff I've seen since like the carol Burnett show or something it was basically 10 years of people hitting each other with pies while rap music played.

My work softball team plays against the ibew team on Monday night, I'm going to play like shit in solidarity

nlg and ibew battle for title of best fomerly-communist organization

i may move to NYC to work for first look media irl.

i got an idea for the stupid blog a friend and i are putting together. at the bottom it would say 'a publication of the bonneville socialist ____' and the blank would be filled in with a rotating selection of names like group, fraktion, current, party, organization, rally, club, movement, bund, etc

Cool, it can be hard to adapt to NYC life, but I can tell you some good intel about which Planet Fitnesses are cleanest and dirtiest, what frozen yogurt shops are starting going-out-of-business sales, and which rivers to dump your biohazards and enemy parts in. Just send me 50-70 private messages about why you are obsessing over transsexual people at the particular moment, and we can dialogue from there.

*yelling from Times Square Olive Garden* if I can make it here I can make it anywhere! Forget about it!

you can call it the BS* or the BSX

#1346
NYC tips: there's a mid town Starbucks just south of Times Square on 8th ave with a large second floor seating area and if you go up there it's full of people mumbling audition lines to themselves basically constantly.

hey rhizzoners dont ask about your work's overtime policy on the job. if u get fired 2 hours later it will be hard to prove that was the exact reason, and that's where all the magic happens in bourgeois society, the sphere of "ignorance"

*i meet a greasy schlemiel in a bar for water and beans and he keeps calling me by my forums username* this is why people come to the City, for the culture
#1353
Let's be honest. Getting a rhizzzone account gives you more access to culture than moving to nyc does.

come work with me, where the overtime policy is "all overtime, all the time"

#1355
the fact that the wddps had a goon meet at a bar in boston where they had water and beans is the most wddp thing. i don't really know how else to describe it. if you were writing a fictional character as a dorky impoverished feelteen people would say it was over the top

i am meeting with a hospital recruiter on wednesday although i mean she'll probably look at my resume and start explaining to me how the concept of employment works or whatever. but i'm going to ask her if there is some sort of crappy internship i can do as a peer support worker or something. we'll see. otherwise i'm just volunteering a bit still. i also bought a membership at a small jesuit library which is very pleasant to me. i mean it's just a normal library but it's got a lot of cool books.
#1359
they have a new sketch show on canadian tv also called second city. there is a fat guy on it that looks like me. i haven't seen anything from it really though. i should lose weight and then steal that guy's job. how do nuke israel jokes play on television, i guess they use more face makeup.

that keven joke about backstreet boys reminds me of conan's favourite joke by andy richter. basically sting was on their show one day and i guess sting had some indian food or something and went into his dressing room. and when he opened the door there was a horrific smell and everyone was grossed out. so andy turned to conan and said "sting, more like.... SMELLY".
