Being openly trans is like even less likely to get someone employed than being a woman born physically a woman, and it's already evident that unemployed women find themselves turning to porn and prostitution.

Plus it's more expensive than a cocaine habit in the early 1980s, when cocaine was very expensive

Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings. Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves' feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze. The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings. Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward. As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man, each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle. Thus were their faces. Their wings were stretched upward; two wings of each one touched one another, and two covered their bodies. And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went. As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of torches. Fire was going back and forth among the living creatures; the fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning. And the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning.

And I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

wow dude u look pretty gd metal

that's sort of a riot if you don't think men can be sexy, but I guess maybe you aren't in to men? I dunno

its not that, its that male sexiness only exists as a function of their societal fitness or appearance of physical strength/danger. its always a direct product of these other, tangential externalities. Men might recognize that we possess qualities which can be considered sexy, but we never feel that we, internally, ARE "sexy". Heterosexual men are simply not treated as an object of sexual desire in our culture, which im sure of course has to do with our culture being shaped and controlled by other heterosexual men, but being able to see ourselves from the perspective of the desirer is just something we are never exposed to, at least not commonly or frequently. Even in the times that a woman has strongly expressed to me my (perceived, by her) "sexiness", it was always expressed in ostensibly feminine terms (beautiful, gorgeous, etc.). Sexiness is almost an inherently feminine concept in our culture.

wow, look at that dude. both covered in engine grease (from working on an engine) and carrying heavy paint cans (with which to paint a womans house, probably). Is a mans sexiness based in nothing more than his mechanical leverage to you? are we no more than machines?

i'm always thinking that i should probably work out but what i'd really like is to do about 5-10 hours a week of genuinely useful physical labor instead

unfortunately physical labor is tough as hell on the body, which is why when you see farmers (at least in serbia) in their 70s half them are completely twisted and ground down. though at 5-10 hours a week you should be completely fine.

all sides agree its unbecoming for men to hm whine about what bothers him instead of taking it - in good humour (as a man's place & role should be, no matter one's political persuasion and justification for it)

but seriously tho that clarkson face is bugging me the fuck out bbrrrrr

thats exactly how i feel, except any genuinely useful physical labor would necessarily take place outdoors, adn thats a dealbreaker

i can think of nothing more evocative of the pure futility of life than the habitual and repetitive lifting and immediate replacement of a weight, all for a slightly increased chance of engaging in sexual intercourse

i work a shitty part-time (18-24 hours a week, useless, unskilled) physical labor job and i love it; being a privileged "intellectual" type, it's fantastic for me.
